The past two weeks have given way to some big changes - namely our new downtown dwelling at Majestic Stove Lofts in St. Louis. A St. Louis City girl at heart (yes, I filed an affidavit in the last election), the move has been a really positive, energizing experience. And, not that you'll be surprised, it's birthed an urgent desire to publish content of the interior design nature. Thus... a peek at our new (albeit unfinished) space.
Exposed brick, raw wood and large windows - true Saint Louis architecture.
Chairs purchased at an estate sale (Thanks Mom & Dad!) and a mid-century auction.
Record player from TFA. Thanks
. for finding and selling Patrick this chair.
We've got a few tweaks to make, furniture and art to buy and several more boxes to unpack, but for 7 days in we're feeling happy and relieved to finally be back in the city. Next on our shopping list... a white rug and black couch for the living room. We're also seeking out the perfect dining set, bed frame, room-dividing shelving unit and a chest of drawers. Soon we'll see some contrast... I hope.
for annoyingly frequent updates on our downtown loft, the St. Louis fashion community, my shoes, whatever I'm eating, our puppy search and my face.
