The first thing I did was check in with the attendant Megan who was kind and helpful and passionate about the project. I didn't have to wait, but I wouldn't have minded because the lobby area was chic and well-stocked with water and magazines. As a St. Louis lifestyle blogger, I've visited a few not-so-chic salons. This is an exception.
Megan was a sweetheart even though I looked like a homeless person after my shower and exfoliation session at home. She walked me through the products available that would help me boost my tan. She also explained VersaSpa - what to do, what to expect, what not to do. I purchased a booster pack and was ready for my first trial!
Looking good so far? You can get the same experience for just $5 now through Wednesday August 28!
As if you're not already convinced, a note from Shine:
“Shine offers a premium, spa-like sunless tanning experience at a great
price, making it easy to indulge whenever the time is right. Make today
your time to Shine and stop by one of our three St. Louis-area locations."
The rooms are cozy, with just the things you need. Pardon my polka dot panties. The spray was relaxing - it wasn't overwhelming or too cold, although that's what I'd expected. A little voice from above told me to get into position for the next spray a few times, and I attempted to recreate the poses Megan had suggested.
Afterward, I washed my hands and was surprised and how quick and easy the whole process was. On the way out, I was impressed once again by Shine's chic ambiance in this little nook. Overall, my experience was much more enjoyable than a regular tan, and I left without any new wrinkles.
Would I go back? Yes! And you should go too. Now through Wednesday, August 28 (Only TWO days, guys!), Shine is offering $5 tans. That's an incredible price!
You can find a location here, and there are three in the St. Louis Metro Area (Two in West County, One in Brentwood where I had the experience described here).
