This post is dedicated solely to Guillaume Henry and his bourgeois definition of a well-dressed woman. Never improper, yet never demure, Henry poses a pleasantly indecorous threat to standard prep. Only a couple years established, Carven is my favorite Fall 2011 RTW collection thus far.
Each of these cuts is so very flattering. Every ensemble is full of great hues, complimentary textures, and chilling fabrics.
Remember when you were in high school and you wore vintage? And it consisted of grandpa sweaters with funny designs? My sister and I lived in that kind of stuff - I've always looked back and cringed (lovingly). I never thought I'd want anything close to that again, but Carven made me want it. Carven made me want it so bad! Yikes.
The outerwear is amazing. This is RTW and under $1,000 (well, some of it...).
I'm so happy right now. Thanks for letting me share with you.
